I think she has disfellowshipped dubs confused with JWs in general. For as much as JWs think they're the center of the universe and their preaching work is somehow relevant, they're the "old news". If you ask most people anything about JWs, they'll only think of Michael Jackson, Prince, or the Williams sisters. DFd exJWs can celebrate that they're no longer associated with the wacko JWs.

last night i had a very interesting conversations with my wife after she came back from the meeting and several things jumped out at me that made see even more clearly how sick this religion is.
first of all, several months ago we attended a wedding of a friend.

Any JWs that have converted from other religions are also apostates. The ragazines regularly feature the stories of dubs that have apostatized from other religions to become JWs. WT litteratrash routinely bashes the beliefs and practices of other religions. What gives JWs the right to shove their apostate material in the faces of their neighbors on a Saturday morning? And then WT turns around and declares that JWs must never read anything that might be critical of the JW religion?

You have to remember that Satan was created a perfect angel who later made himself into the ugly, evil devil. Similarly, mosquitos, ticks, and leeches were originally created by Hojovah as beautiful butterflies and fuzzy caterpillars. It was because of their wicked rebelliousness that they followed Satan in a course of willful disobedience and began drinking blood and transformed themselves into the ugly creatures that they are today. So it's because of their misuse of freewill that mosquitos, ticks, and leeches are the disease-carrying pests that they are today.
And if that explanation isn't in the Big Book of Jewish Fables, it should be!

That's the best place to start. Carefully evaluate your situation and what you want out of life. The dream of the panda petting paradise may be gone, but it was just a carrot to get you to recruit for WT. First get rid of the mental chains of the JW clergy, then you'll be better able to get rid of the physical chains of WT corporation.

Why would his mother get upset or object to what her son did? According to the Bible, what did he do wrong? According to the OT, the only "punishment" for the guy that kidnaps a few women would be that he has to buy the women from their father. Then they become his property and they can't divorce.

There are still the last prophecies about the King of the North yet to be fulfilled. According to Daniel, the King of the North will be a very big player over a significant period of time. Also, the UN needs to get some teeth according to what WT has always said. People have to turn away from religion... including Islam, Hinduism, etc. There are many parts of the world that are increasingly secular, but atheism hasn't gone global. Finally, the UN and King of the North need to turn on all religion. That's not going to happen any time soon.
